Do you take commissions?

Yes, a small number each year. Commissions begin with a conversation about the room the painting will live in — its light, its walls, what you look at while you sit in it. From there Priscilla works freely; she does not paint to a photograph or a swatch. Expect three to five months.

How are paintings shipped?

Panels are wrapped in glassine, corner-protected and crated by hand in the studio. Domestic shipping is included in the listed price. International shipping is quoted per crate.

Are the paintings framed?

Cold wax panels are finished on the sides and hang beautifully unframed. If you prefer a frame, Priscilla works with a framer in Dorchester and can arrange a simple maple or blackened-steel float frame at cost.

How soon will I hear back?

Priscilla reads and answers her own mail, usually within two days. If your enquiry is about a specific painting she will hold it for you while you decide.
